Category Awards

Ranking of participants are based on the Net Time they complete their enrolled hiking routes.  Award will be given to individuals and teams who have achieved the shortest Net Time. The Net Time of an individual is measured by his/her Bib Finish Time against the Gun Time. The Net Time of a team is the average Net Time of all 4 members of the team.  No Net Time for a team will be recorded should the team has less than 4 member.

    • Corporate Challenge
      • A trophy will be awarded to the winning corporations and each member of the champion, first runner-up and second runner-up teams
      • Award Ceremony will be held on the event date. 
      • A metal plate with the name of the champion corporation will be put on the trophy
      • Any corporations who have cumulated 3 consecutive years of championship will keep the 3 Stars Corporate Challenge Trophy
    • Alumni Challenge
      • A trophy will be awarded to the winning alumni and each member of the champion, first runner-up and second runner-up teams
      • Award Ceremony will be held on the event date. 
      • The winning alumni will have its name engraved on a plate and affixed to the big floating trophy kept at Jockey Club Home for Hospice
    • Team
      • A trophy will be awarded to each member of the champion, first runner-up and second runner-up of participating teams for each route
    • Individual
      • A trophy will be awarded to the champion, first runner-up and second runner-up of participating individuals for each route
    • Certificate of Completion
      • All participants who have completed their enrolled hiking route will be granted a Certificate of Completion
    • Super Hiker
      • Fastest hiker for each route

Fundraising Awards

Award will be given to the team and individual who achieve the highest fundraising amount and exceed the basis fundraising requirement

    • Top Team Fundraising Award
    • Top Individual Fundraising Award

Qualifications for Awards

    1. Participants who start the hike before the Gun Time (official starting time) will be disqualified for the Category Awards.
    2. Participants who do not wear a valid bib, or those who wear a bib but without a complete time check record will be disqualified for the Category Awards.
    3. A team with less than 4 members completing the hike or anyone without a complete time check record, will be disqualified for the Team Award.
    4. Hikers disqualified for Category Awards are still qualified for Fundraising Awards or the Super Hiker Award.
    5. Awards will only be given to teams or individuals who achieve the minimum fundraising requirement on or before Friday, 23 March 2018.

Presentation of Awards

    1. All awards will be presented at a post-event ceremony of which the date will be announced at a later stage;
    2. Announcement of award-winners will be made on the event website immediately after the event;
    3. Invitation to award-winners to attend the Award Presentation Ceremony will be made by e-invites
