The Hike

Established in 1986, the Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care (SPHC) is committed to advocate for compassionate and holistic hospice and palliative care for people facing life-limiting illnesses and provide bereavement support to people facing the loss of a loved one. We also promote positive attitudes towards death and dying through a variety of life-and-death education program.

  • Through ”Hike for Hospice”, we work towards raising much needed funds to help us extend our capacity to provide subsidized services so that more underprivileged terminal patients may find comfort and dignity in life’s final stage, allowing them more time and energy to spend with the ones who matter most at the Jockey Club Home for Hospice.
